Asbestos Abatement & Removal Process:

There are various methods of asbestos abatement. These range from spot repair, encapsulation and enclosing to full asbestos removal. Depending on the circumstances, any one of these methods can be used.

Work Area Regulations:
The first step in asbestos removal is to set up a regulated work area. This involves disabling HVAC systems, sealing air ducts and setting up negative pressure equipment as well as setting up many other safety precautions to prevent the spread of asbestos fibers throughout the building.

Removal of Material
Asbestos materials are removed by technicians wearing abatement suits and air monitoring equipment. All asbestos material is placed into asbestos disposal waste bags, sealed and stored in a specially labeled dumpsters designed with a protective poly lining to contain the asbestos material.

HEPA Vacuuming
Once all the asbestos material has been removed, all abated surfaces are wiped down and vacuumed with a special HEPA vacuum. Multiple testing of the air and abated surfaces will be performed to ensure that any lingering asbestos particles are removed.
